San Diego AgTech Hackathon 2026
Thursday, November 5, 2026, 1:00 PM PST – 6:00 PM PST
San Diego County Farm Bureau · 420 S Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025, USA
Hosted by Rising Tide Partners

Entrepreneurs, farmers, investors, scientists and students, all in one room to turn ideas into businesses. Rising Tide Partners and the Escondido AgX Regional Innovation Hub are bringing San Diego's agtech community together for one day to solve today's problems in agriculture and the food system. The hackathon is part of San Diego Startup Week 2026. Working side by side in person, we'll get a clearer picture of the problems growers and food producers face right now, and build solutions with local customers that can scale well beyond the region. San Diego County, and Escondido in particular, is one of the densest farming communities in California. There's no better place to bring agriculture and tech together. Bring an idea or join a team. Through the day, we'll help you test it with the people who'd use it and shape it into a business worth pursuing. When: Thursday, November 5. Hackathon from 1pm to 5pm, with a reception following from 5pm to 6pm. Where: San Diego County Farm Bureau, 420 S Broadway, Escondido. Participants join a team, build and pitch. Spectators watch the pitches, meet the teams and stay for the reception. After you register as a participant, you can start a team or join one right here on Eventship. Coming on your own is fine; we'll help you find a team at kickoff. Mentors sign up for time slot to meet with teams and provide expertise. Farm Bureau members receive free admission
